Cool looking / sounding, yet terrible in combat

sadly the KA-50 suffered from the soviet union falling [which we all know what that means] and the only 12 currently in existance (which is almost nothing when compared to the fact it was ment to completely replace the mi-24's at the time) that were actually made are all rebuilt chassis they got from the old production line in the 80's so on the off chance they even work (which is unlikely due to their higher maintenance requirements) the 80/90s to early 2000's tech isnt gonna really help them much especially since even though these are technically advanced helis when compared to the hinds their low numbers and absolutely fucked production lead to them getting almost zero modernization packages/upgrades which lead to them being basically soft shelved and "conscripted" to russian special operations use. there's also a lot of confusion with their use in ukraine in that the KA-50 isn't actually being used in ukraine what is being used however is the KA-50s younger twin brother the KA-52 which is almost entirely identical to the KA-50 except for the fact that it's a duel-seater and has received a few modernization packages/upgrades there's even videos of it use in ukraine out there however like tha KA-50 there are very limited production models in existance although that is better than the ka-50 whos only living and functional models are all prototypes.

From what Ive read the KA-32 is very reliable but Id like to know how the maintenance compares between something like the KA-32 and the Sikorsky S-61.
